AGADEV takes Gabon’s voice to the ANCA 2025 Summit in South Africa
Agence Gabonaise pour le Développement de l’Économie Verte (AGADEV) will be taking part in the African Natural Capital Alliance (ANCA) Summit, to be held from October 7 to 9, 2025 in Cape Town, South Africa, under the theme:
“Unlocking Africa’s natural capital: Catalyzing investment for a resilient and equitable future”.
This high-level international event will bring together heads of state, political decision-makers, financial institutions, businesses and sustainable development experts to work towards a common goal: mobilizing innovative financing to build more sustainable and climate-resilient African economies.
Asserting Gabon’s leadership
Madame Scyrielle P. Sende Etali, Managing Director of AGADEV, will deliver the Summit’s opening address on Tuesday, October 7.
Her speech will highlight Gabon’s leadership in the bioeconomy, ecosystem conservation and green finance, as well as national initiatives to transform natural capital into an engine of shared prosperity.
“Gabon is demonstrating that it is possible to reconcile economic growth with the protection of natural resources. The green economy is not a utopia: it’s an opportunity for the whole of Africa”, declared Madame Scyrielle P. Sende Etali.
A strategic presence for Gabon
AGADEV’s participation in the Summit illustrates Gabon’s commitment to strengthening regional and international partnerships in favor of ecological transition and sustainable development.
The event will also serve as an international showcase for Gabon’s model of responsible natural resource management, recognized as one of the most advanced on the continent.
