Climate and carbon finance: an opportunity for Africa.

On Tuesday, AGADEV Director Scyrielle Sende Etali took part in a videoconference on the panel “Climate and carbon finance: an opportunity for Africa”, organized as part of the Choiseul Africa Business Forum 2025 in Rabat.

During the panel, which included Ibrahim Mayaki(Africa Sovereign Carbon Registry Foundation), Paul Sébastien(Africa Carbon Solutions) and Jérôme Dulong (AXA IM Alts / BNP Paribas Group), our CEO reiterated the importance of building credible and fair African carbon valuation mechanisms, based on science, transparency and local value creation.Through this participation, AGADEV underlines Gabon’s experience in climate finance and the need to transform Africa’s natural capital into a concrete lever for sustainable development and regional competitiveness.
