SENDE ETALI, Managing Director of the Agence Gabonaise pour le D\u00e9veloppement de l&#8217;\u00c9conomie Verte (AGADEV), took part in a conference organized by her supervisory ministry, the Ministry of the Economy and Participations, on the theme of financing post-transition development.<br\/><br\/>After a brief reminder of the Agency&#8217;s missions, namely the conceptualization, financing, deployment and promotion of green investments in Gabon, the Managing Director proposed a number of ideas for attracting more green financing to Gabon.<br\/><br\/>In particular, she mentioned<br\/>&#8211; strengthening the dialogue between stakeholders involved in the green sector (State, Donors, Companies)<br\/>&#8211; finalizing the national institutional architecture around the monetization of natural capital<br\/>&#8211; resuming efforts to monetize natural capital, including carbon credits<br\/>&#8211; supporting SMEs and green startups in accessing capital<br\/>&#8211; issuing green bonds, blue bonds or other debt-to-nature financial instruments<br\/>to name but a few.<br\/><br\/>During these two days of exchanges organized by the Ministry of the Economy and Participations, with the support of the UNDP and the United Nations office, finance experts, members of the government, development partners and business leaders reflected together on concrete and innovative solutions, aimed at initiating a genuine paradigm shift for the Gabonese economy after the transition.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images
